The Re-Organization School is a divisons of New York’s renowned liberal college, The New School (TNS). The Re-Organization school consist of students and faculty fellows from TNS’s Mellon Initiative.

This school works in a non-hierarchical fashion, allowing for students and faculty to work together in a seamless fashion. On a trip to upstate New York, members held workshops based around human organization, activism, and the importance of land ownership as a means of sustainable living.

The emphasis on land ownership and sustainable living spoke to a bigger picture, “How can we mobilize without risking lives? How can we mobilize while serving our communities?”

For three days, members engaged in this open forum while building relationships and learning about urban agriculture/landscapes, challening the norms we currently live under.
